Westshore is very proud of the accomplishments of Valkyrie Chelsey Minter-Truck making the Canadian NSWT for the Canada vs England “A” game. Where entering the game as an impact player as front row. Congratulations on a solid effort and play!! Chelsey started playing for Velox back in the Spring of 2012. Her favorite memory with our club thus far was winning the BC Provincial Premiership her first year with the club and again in 2015. A humble player as she was quoted saying “It’s really an honour to have been selected for this team and to be here in England with Rugby Canada. I’m excited to keep working and developing as a player and happy to have the opportunity to work with the national coaches.” When asked what is next for this upcoming star, she said “What is next? Who knows, ideally I would hope to be invited to the Spring training camp with the NSWT again in 2016, and to be selected from there for further tours. Before that is many more hours in the gym and on the pitch working towards being one of the best props in Canada.
